Since early childhood Irene Lite has always had a burning desire to express herself through art. A talented artist, designer, singer, writer and exceptional cook, after raising three children, at the age of fifty seven she started painting. Mostly self taught, she would occassionally take classes at the Art Students League and the 92nd Street Y to improve her artistic skills. Now a grandmother, she continues to practice the many forms of art she loves so much. Painting, beaded flowers, embroidery, needlepoint and of course cooking, are just some of her many talents. When she's not producing art, Irene is an avid world traveler, having visited all four corners of the world.
